The company is set up to provide Category I and II Financial Services in South Africa. It is an affiliate of Lightcone Asset Management Limited, which is an Investment Advisor and Manager regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong.

The company’s business activities include the provision of intermediary, advisory and management services across public and private market investments.

Anolawave has a strategic partnership with Lightcone Asset Management Limited based in Hong Kong.

Lightcone is a licensed corporation regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) in Hong Kong. It holds 49% of the shares of Anolawave.

The management team consists of experienced financial professionals with buy-side and sell-side experience in leading financial institutions located in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Johannesburg.

Lightcone advises and manages assets of over USD 1.5 billion in Funds and Separately Managed Accounts (“SMA”), in areas including:

  • Asset management
  • Transaction and deal advisory
  • Strategic consultancy services

Specialty services includes cross-border / mutual market access including Overseas Direct Investment (“ODI”), Bond-Connect, Stock-Connect, Qualified Domestic Investment Enterprise (“QDIE”) and Qualified Domestic Limited Partner (“QDLP”).

With support from Lightcone, Anolawave is enabled an access to the debt capital market (“DCM”), equity capital market (“ECM”) and financial risk management tools in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
